Decent kit, slow support

I bought the Cetus X FPV Kit. The drone itself is good for what it is, and the goggles are okay for a beginner kit. Shipping took about 10 days to reach Texas, which is acceptable. However, I had a question about updating the firmware on the LiteRadio 4 and it took a few days to get a response from customer service. It eventually got sorted, but the wait was a bit frustrating. Overall, good value for the money, but don't expect super fast support.

Great upgrade for my Meteor

I ordered some 0802SE Motors and a set of HQProp Propellers for my Meteor75 Pro. The ordering process was simple on their website. It took about 8 days to get to my place in California, which was pretty standard for international shipping. Installation was easy enough, and the new motors made a noticeable difference in flight time and punch. The props were exactly what I needed. I also picked up a few BT2.0 Batteries; they charge fine and hold up well. Everything arrived safely packaged, and I had no issues with the quality of the parts. It was a good experience for getting specific spares.

ELRS is amazing!

Just received my ELRS Nano TX Module and a SuperD ELRS Receiver, and I'm blown away! The range and link quality are just incredible. I updated my LiteRadio 3 Pro with it and it was super easy. This is a game changer for my tiny whoops. I'm definitely coming back for more gear soon and telling all my flying buddies about it!

Good drone for starting out

I got the Aquila16 FPV Kit a few weeks ago, and it's been pretty fun. The drone flies well, and everything came in one box which was nice. Setting it up was straightforward, even for someone like me who's new to this. I've crashed it a bunch already but it seems to hold up okay. The goggles are decent too. Overall a solid kit to get into FPV without spending too much.

Any active BETAFPV discount codes for ELRS gear right now?

C CouponHunter 3 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
Check their newsletter signup, sometimes they give a first order discount. That usually works on everything.

Also check around Black Friday or Cyber Monday, they do ELRS bundles then.

B BundleLover 3 weeks ago
I've seen some 'ELRS hardware bundles' pop up, but not a specific code.

Meteor75 vs Meteor75 Pro? What's the real difference?

W WhoopMaster 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Pro has the 1102 motors and a slightly better camera. Worth it for the extra punch.
5
S SpeedDemon 1 month ago
Definitely the motors. Makes a big difference.

And the FC is newer too, right?

C CasualPilot 1 month ago
For a first 75mm, either is good. Pro is just a bit zippier.

Looking for a small cinewhoop. Pavo20 or Pavo25 V2?

C CinePilot 3 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
Pavo25 V2 is probably the way to go. More stable for carrying a naked GoPro.

D DeepakR 3 weeks ago
Is it much heavier?

S SmoothOperator 3 weeks ago
Yeah, the 25 is a better platform.

Pavo20 is more nimble indoors if that's what you want.

Need a good FPV camera for a tiny whoop. C02 or C03?

C CameraGuy 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
C03 is better if you can fit it. Wider FOV and usually better image quality.

S SharpShooter 2 weeks ago
C03 is sharper for sure.

C02 is super light and still decent for the price.

BT2.0 connectors vs PH2.0? Is the upgrade worth it?

P PowerUser 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
100% worth it. Less voltage sag, more punch, longer flight times. Get the BT2.0 batteries too.

Which LiteRadio for a beginner? 2 SE or 3 Pro?

C CheapThrills 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
LiteRadio 2 SE is fine to start. Cheap and works.

If you can swing it, 3 Pro. Better gimbals, feels nicer.

Quick question about returns. If I get one of their RTF kits, say the Cetus X, and something goes wrong after a few flights, like it crashes 'cause I'm a noob, can I still return it? Or is it only for DOA stuff?

B Ben Walsh 3 months ago
Nah, pretty sure if you crash it, that's on you. They probably won't take it back unless it was defective out of the box. That's kinda standard for drones, especially FPV stuff.
1
A Andre Vargas 3 months ago
Yeah, if it's user damage they don't cover it. Had an issue with a flight controller once and they did warranty that, but it was clearly a manufacturing thing, not a crash. Read their policy, it's usually pretty clear about what's covered.
